A leading Tier One Main Building Contractor is seeking a Commercial Manager to join their senior leadership team in Dublin. With one of the strongest project pipelines in the Irish construction industry, the company continues to deliver landmark developments across multiple sectors, with a particular focus on large-scale residential projects at present.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to step into a Commercial Manager role, or an established Commercial Manager seeking their next challenge. The successful candidate will join a market-leading contractor renowned for delivering high-profile projects, investing in its people, and offering exceptional long-term career progression.

Responsibilities
• Lead the commercial management of major construction projects from pre-construction through to final account.
• Oversee project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting, and commercial performance.
• Manage and mentor commercial teams across multiple projects.
• Drive procurement strategies and oversee subcontractor management.
• Review and negotiate contractual matters, variations, and final accounts.
• Work closely with project directors and senior management to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify commercial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the continued growth and commercial success of the business.

Requirements
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level.
• Previous experience with a main contractor is highly desirable, though candidates from a developer background will also be considered.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing large-scale construction projects.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to manage commercial teams and drive project performance.
• Ambitious individual looking to progress within a Tier One contractor.

Package
• Salary: €110,000 – €130,000 DOE.
• Full-time, permanent position based in Dublin.
