ProSource Group are seeking a skilled and seasoned Civils Supervisor to join a reputable civil engineering company, working on projects across the South-East. As a vital member of the team, you'll oversee on-site operations, ensuring the smooth execution of various civil engineering projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:The role of the Civils Supervisor involves supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities, managing site teams, and ensuring projects meet quality, safety, and timeline objectives. You'll work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and site personnel to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Supervise on-site construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
- Lead and manage site teams, providing guidance and support to ensure work is performed according to plans and standards.
- Monitor construction progress, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure the availability of necessary materials, equipment, and resources.
- Conduct regular site inspections, addressing any issues or concerns promptly to maintain project momentum.
- Collaborate with project management to update progress reports and contribute to project planning meetings.
Requirements - 3+ years within a construction or civil engineering environment within Ireland possessing a strong understanding of Irish water / road construction regulations.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a site supervision role within civil engineering or construction.
- Strong background in groundworks, including drainage, ducting, and general site development works.
- Experience working on civil infrastructure projects with a contractor
- Exposure to water or wastewater projects would be a distinct advantage.
- Proven ability to manage site crews and subcontractors effectively.
- Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel across the South East region.
