Civil Technician - Cork

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Irish civil and structural engineering consultancy, for a Civil Technician to join its Cork infrastructure team.

This is a design-focused role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of drawings and models, solving technical problems and seeing projects through to delivery. You’ll work across public and private sector schemes, from site infrastructure to larger national projects. 

Role

• Produce civil engineering drawings and models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other BIM tools.
• Develop earthworks models, levels, site infrastructure layouts and detailed design information.
• Prepare clear, accurate drawing packages for planning, tender and construction.
• Coordinate deliverables with engineers, team leaders, the wider design team and contractors.
• Manage your own drawing and modelling tasks through design changes and project deadlines.

Requirements

• 3–6 years’ experience in civil engineering design or technical delivery.
• A Level 6 qualification in Civil Engineering, BTech or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Experience producing civil works drawings and detailed design information; earthworks modelling experience is a bonus.
• Familiarity with civil engineering BIM models.
