ProSource are recruiting for a Civil Technician for their client, a growing Irish consultancy, for a role in their Cork office. Operating across civil and structural engineering, architecture, and project management, the firm delivers projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and life sciences sectors, providing integrated design services from concept through construction.
With a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach and a strong pipeline of development-led projects, they offer exposure to full project lifecycles and close coordination with in-house engineers and external stakeholders.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Civil Technician with strong Civil 3D capability to support the delivery of residential and commercial development projects.
This role will involve producing high-quality civil engineering drawings and models, supporting design teams, and contributing to project delivery across site development, drainage, and infrastructure design.
The successful candidate will have 5–10 years’ consultancy experience, ideally within the Irish market, and be comfortable working across all project stages.
Responsibilities
• Produce 2D drawings and 3D models using Civil 3D
• Develop site layouts, road alignments, and levels strategies
• Assist in drainage design (surface water, foul, SuDS)
• Prepare drawings for planning, tender, and construction stages
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
• 5–10 years’ consultancy experience (ideally in Ireland)
• Strong experience in residential and/or commercial projects
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (essential)
• Good understanding of site development and drainage design
