Civil Design Engineer - Sligo

ProSource Group are recruiting on behalf of an Irish-owned civil and structural engineering consultancy for a Civil Design Engineer to join its team in Mayo or Sligo.

This is an opportunity to build your career locally while working on projects across the Northwest and wider Ireland. The consultancy delivers civil and structural design across residential, commercial, industrial, roads and infrastructure projects. 

You’ll be involved from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction, with scope to take on more client contact and project responsibility as you develop.

Role

• Design drainage, SuDS, roads, junctions, site levels and earthworks.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specifications, technical reports and planning submissions.
• Contribute to traffic and transport assessments and mobility management plans.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities.
• Attend site, carry out surveys and provide construction-stage support.
• Develop your project management and contract administration experience.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Irish engineering consultancy experience
• Experience preparing civil engineering drawings, calculations and reports.
• An interest in working across civil design, roads and project delivery.
• Confidence communicating with clients and project teams.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D would be beneficial.
