CAD Technician - Waterford

Salary: €40,000 - €45,000 DOE

ProSource are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading Waterford-based civil/structural engineering design consultancy, for a CAD Technician.

The successful candidate will work alongside a strong and highly-skilled team on a number of civil engineering and building projects for both public and private sector clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and well-presented 2D and 3D drawings for civil and structural engineering projects.
• Produce detailed rebar drawings and schedules for reinforced concrete structures.
• Develop detailed drawings for concrete, steel, masonry, and drainage layouts.
• Support the team in preparing preliminary designs, technical reports, and detailed specifications using industry-standard CAD software.
• Work closely with engineers and project teams on a daily basis to ensure design accuracy and project coordination.
• Attend meetings and liaise directly with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of design consultancy experience
• Experience developing detailed design models and drawings for construction and preparation of reinforcement drawings and schedules.
• Design Experience on building projects (residential, mixed-use developments, industrial and commercial) in the public & private sector.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Suite
• Ability to achieve tight deadlines working as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
