A progressive building services engineering consultancy is seeking a BIM Technician to join its Dublin office. The company delivers innovative, sustainable mechanical and electrical design solutions across Ireland, the UK and Europe, working on projects from concept through to handover across multiple sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and technically strong MEP team delivering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, infrastructure and life sciences sectors.

The Role

As a BIM Technician, you will support engineering teams through the development and coordination of accurate Revit MEP models, ensuring high-quality digital delivery across all project stages.
You will work closely with engineers, BIM coordinators and project teams to ensure models, drawings and documentation meet project standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Revit MEP models for mechanical, electrical and public health systems
  • Produce drawings, layouts and schedules from BIM models
  • Support model coordination and clash detection using Navisworks
  • Maintain model accuracy throughout all design stages
  • Assist with BIM coordination meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Update models in response to design changes, RFIs and client feedback
  • Support development of BIM templates, content libraries and standards
  • Follow internal QA/QC procedures and BIM execution plans
Experience & Requirements
  • 2–5 years BIM / Revit experience within an MEP or engineering consultancy.
  • Strong understanding of building services systems and coordination.
  • Experience working through detailed design / technical design stages
  • Proficiency in Revit MEP.
  • Experience with Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC or similar CDE platforms.
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 / BIM standards desirable.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
