BIM Modeller - Precast Concrete

You will work closely with structural engineers, BIM coordinators and production teams to develop accurate 3D models and detailed information for the manufacture and installation of precast structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed BIM models for precast concrete components and structures.
• Produce drawings and manufacturing information from coordinated models.
• Work closely with structural engineers and project teams to incorporate design requirements.
• Update models throughout design development and manage revisions accurately.
• Assist with clash detection and coordination with other disciplines.
• Ensure drawings and models are suitable for manufacture and site installation.
• Support design queries arising from production and construction teams.

Requirements

• Qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, BIM, Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Open to graduates and candidates with 2+ years’ experience.
• Experience with Revit, Tekla or similar BIM/modelling software.
• Precast concrete or structural experience would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
