Bim Modeller

The Prosource Group are currently recruiting a BIM Modeller on behalf of a Mechanical Contractor .

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed mechanical BIM models (HVAC, piping, chilled water, heating, ventilation, fire protection, Brackts, Supports, Builders ope’s etc.) in line with project requirements
• Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and design information to accurately model systems
• Assist the engineering and design teams by resolving model-related technical queries
• Ensure models comply with project BIM Execution Plan (BEP), BIM standards, and Level of Detail (LOD) requirements
• Support procurement and construction teams by producing accurate model data, schedules, and quantities
• Coordinate mechanical models with other disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical, and process)
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools and assist in resolving clashes efficiently
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and workshops
• Issue coordinated models and reports in line with project programme and milestones
• Support site teams by responding to BIM-related RFIs and coordination issues

Experience & Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, BIM, or a related discipline
• • 5+ years’ experience in a BIM Modeller role within building services or construction
• Experience working on large commercial, industrial, data centre, or pharmaceutical projects
• Strong hands-on experience delivering coordinated BIM models on live construction projects
• Previous experience working abroad or within multinational project teams is an advantage
• Knowledge of German construction standards (DIN/VDI) beneficial
• English required; German language skills not required
