Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate 3D models and detailed fabrication drawings for structural and architectural steelwork.
  • Lead coordination and design discussions with clients, engineers, architects, and consultants.
  • Represent the company in BIM coordination meetings with other trades.
  • Review, interpret, and interrogate architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Work closely with production and site teams to resolve technical and fabrication issues.
  • Manage multiple detailing packages simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the design and detailing process.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in steelwork detailing.
  • Proficiency in Advance Steel, Tekla Structures, or similar 3D detailing software.
  • Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, erection methods, and project workflows.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in BIM coordination and large-scale projects (e.g., data centres) is an advantage.
