Audit Senior/ Semi Senior - Wicklow

ProSource are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an established accountancy practice based in Wicklow for a Audit Senior / Semi Senior. 

The role is ideal for someone who is looking to take the next step in their audit career within a supportive firm with exposure to varied client portfolio and progression. 

About your new role: 

• Managing day to day communication with clients and coordinating audit timelines. 
• Planning audit engagements, including identifying key risk areas and determining efficient audit approaches. 
• Reviewing audit files and providing constructive feedback to junior staff. 
• Taking responsibility for a portfolio of clients where appropriate. 
• Monitoring budgets and work in progress, flagging issues or potential overruns early.  
• Completing complex or high risk audit sections on selected assignments. 
• Ensuring all statutory and regulatory deadlines are met, including corporation tax and companies house filings. 
• Identifying opportunities to introduce clients to additional firm services outside of audit. 

What we're looking for: 

• Part Qualified Accountant with experience in audit practice environment. 
• Strong understanding of audit processes and planning. 
• Proficient in practice software including Excel, Word, Sage, Caseware, Alpha Tax and VPM/Central. 
• Commercially aware with a client-firm mindset
• Confident communication with strong written and verbal skills 
• Highly organised, capable of managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
