Audit Senior/ Manager

We are currently seeking an Audit Senior/Manager to join a busy Irish practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong professional with proven audit experience to take on a leadership role, managing engagements and teams while developing their career further.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead audits for a portfolio of clients, ranging from small to large companies.
• Manage a small audit team (typically 1–2 staff), including supervising and mentoring junior staff.
• Prepare and review accounts, working papers, and audit files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure audits are performed in accordance with Irish Accounting Standards (FRS) and IFRS, and comply with auditing standards.
• Liaise with clients and provide practical advice on accounting and audit matters.
• Contribute to business development and client relationship management as appropriate.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Minimum 3–4 years’ audit experience in an Irish-based practice, with at least 50% of current role spent on auditing.
• Strong technical knowledge of FRS, IFRS, and auditing standards.
• Proven experience as lead on audit engagements, including managing small audit teams.
• Experience across audits of small to large companies.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
