Audit Senior - Dublin

ProSource is recruiting for a Audit Senior to join a highly regarded accountancy practice based in Dublin. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to further develop their career.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion for a range of clients.
• Prepare and review audit working papers in accordance with applicable auditing standards. 
• Assist in the preparation and review of statutory financial statements. 
• identify audit risks and assess internal controls and business processes. 
• Liaise directly with clients and maintain strong professional relationships throughout engagements. 
• Supervise, mentor and review the work of junior audit team members. 
• Ensure assignments are delivered within agreed budgets and deadlines. 
• Support managers and partners with ad hoc projects and client advisory work as required. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of  2 years experience working within an Irish accountancy practice. 
• Currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or ACA. 
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and financial statements. 
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively to deadlines. 
• Proficiency in accounting software packages.
