Audit Associate - Kildare

ProSource are now looking for a Audit Associate to join a boutique firm in Kildare. The role requires at least one year of audit experience within a practice firm and strong understanding of audit procedures. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist with audit assignments from start to finish across a varied client base. 
• Perform audit testing and prepare working papers under supervision. 
• Support preparation of financial statements (FRS 102 / IFRS where required) 
• Liaise with clients to obtain information and resolve queries. 
• Highlight issues to senior staff as they arise. 
• Support general audit and accounts work during busy periods. 
• Work to deadlines and contribute to team delivery. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum 1 year experience in audit within a practice firm. 
• Working towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACA or ACCA) or part qualified. 
• Good understanding of audit principles and financial reporting standards. 
• Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
