Audit & Accounts Manager - Galway

The Role

As Audit & Accounts Manager, you will take ownership of a varied client portfolio and lead audit engagements from planning through to completion. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients while mentoring and supporting junior team members, contributing to their development and the success of the team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and being part of a close-knit, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a diverse portfolio of audit and accounts clients across multiple sectors
• Lead audits from planning to final sign-off, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Review financial statements and audit files for quality and adherence to standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
• Mentor and support junior staff, fostering their growth and development

Candidate Profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in an Irish accountancy practice
• Strong audit and assurance experience
• Proven ability to manage client relationships effectively
