Associate Engineer - Civil & Structural

We are seeking an experienced Associate Structural & Civil Engineer to join a growing consultancy team based in Galway, with potential for agreed hybrid working. The successful candidate will lead and project manage structural and civil design consultancy services on medium to large building and infrastructure projects, while managing and supporting engineering teams through the full design process.

Role

• Project management of structural and civil engineering consultancy services
• Leading and coordinating teams delivering structural design on large building projects
• Managing design delivery, quality, and programme performance
• Liaising with clients, design teams, and stakeholders
• Attending site visits and inspections as required

Requirements

• Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 10 years’ professional experience, including at least 5 years in Irish civil & structural consultancy
• Strong structural engineering background with experience delivering large building projects
• Proven ability to manage and lead design teams
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT / BIM
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Full driver’s licence and own transport (site visits required)
