A well-established project and cost management consultancy is seeking an Associate Director to join its leadership team based in South Dublin. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality cost consultancy and project management services across a diverse portfolio of construction projects, the consultancy continues to grow and secure major commissions throughout Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who is ready to take the next step into an Associate Director position, or an existing Associate Director looking for a fresh challenge. The successful candidate will play a key role in client management, project delivery, business development, and mentoring the next generation of quantity surveyors within a collaborative and growing consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects across a variety of sectors.
• Manage and develop key client relationships while identifying opportunities for further business.
• Provide strategic commercial advice throughout all project stages.
• Oversee cost planning, procurement, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Mentor and support junior and intermediate members of the commercial team.
• Work closely with directors to support the continued growth of the business.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest professional standards.
• Represent the consultancy at client meetings and throughout project delivery.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a Cost Consultancy environment.
• Chartered status or working towards chartership is advantageous.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
• Excellent commercial awareness and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and commercial teams.
• Ambitious individual looking to progress into a senior leadership position within a growing consultancy.

Package

• Salary: €105,000+ DOE.
