A leading property development and construction group is currently seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Dublin. Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing high-level appraisals for land acquisitions and ongoing development opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of project budgets and bills of quantities for planning and pre-construction stages.
  • Contribute to tendering processes for public housing and local authority projects.
  • Monitor live project costs and update internal cost databases.
  • Help manage and maintain standard house-type budgets, reviewing rates and cost performance.
  • Undertake measurements and checks to validate cost data across current and future developments.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
  • 1–2 years' experience in a QS or cost planning role, ideally within residential or mixed-use developments.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and measurement tools.
  • Willingness to learn and work collaboratively within a busy commercial team.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.
