Assistant Project Manager - Construction

A respected Project and Cost Management Consultancy based in Dublin is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. The company provides comprehensive project delivery services across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, and healthcare. Hybrid working arrangements and occasional site visits are part of the role, providing flexibility and exposure to a diverse range of projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Support senior project managers in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, consultants, and contractors during various project phases.
• Prepare project programmes, progress reports, and client presentations.
• Participate in project meetings and monitor key milestones and deliverables.
• Conduct site visits as required to assess progress and ensure compliance with project plans.
• Contribute to tender evaluations, feasibility assessments, and procurement processes.
• Ensure strong communication with clients, design teams, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years’ experience in project management or a similar client-side role.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing construction projects.
• Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Project and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and work independently.
• Full driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional site visits.

Package

• Salary: €50,000 – €55,000 DOE.
• Hybrid / Work-From-Home option available.
