An established and forward-thinking Cost and Project Management consultancy in Dublin is seeking an ambitious Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team. This firm is known for delivering complex, high-value developments across a range of sectors including commercial, healthcare, residential, and mixed-use. The role presents a great opportunity for a motivated individual to work alongside senior project professionals and gain hands-on experience in all stages of the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Support senior project managers in the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation including programmes, reports, and presentations.
  • Help manage key project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Attend client and design team meetings, taking minutes and tracking follow-ups.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of project budgets, timelines, and risk registers.
  • Conduct site visits and assist in progress tracking and reporting.
  • Provide support on procurement, tendering, and contract administration activities.
Requirements
  • Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in a project coordination or assistant project management role, ideally in a consultancy environment.
  • Familiarity with key project delivery methods and an understanding of construction processes.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is an advantage.
  • Eagerness to develop professionally and work towards chartership (SCSI, RICS, or similar).
