Architectural Technologist

We are looking for an experienced BIM Lead to oversee and enhance Building Information Modelling processes across a varied project portfolio throughout the West of Ireland. This senior position offers the chance to shape BIM strategy, lead digital delivery, and support the development of a growing team across commercial, residential, industrial, and healthcare projects.
Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, implementing, and managing BIM standards, workflows, and protocols in accordance with ISO 19650.
• Coordinating digital models across multidisciplinary teams to promote accuracy, efficiency, and effective collaboration.
• Managing model development, clash detection, and information exchange at every stage of project delivery.
• Providing training, mentoring, and technical guidance to architects, technologists, and project managers.
• Ensuring BIM outputs satisfy client requirements while supporting sustainable and forward-thinking design.
• Driving ongoing improvements in digital design processes and staying informed about emerging industry practices.

To be considered, you should have:

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years’ experience delivering projects within a BIM environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM software.
• A thorough understanding of BIM standards and project coordination procedures.
• Proven leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities.
• The ability to manage competing priorities without compromising technical quality.
