About the Opportunity
A well-established architectural, project management and project delivery practice is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. The practice delivers technically rigorous, client-focused work across commercial, residential, healthcare and aviation sectors, with a strong commitment to BIM integration, sustainable design and collaborative delivery.
Role Overview You will contribute to the technical development, coordination and delivery of projects from design development through construction. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will bring strong technical judgement, Revit capability and practical BIM experience to the production of coordinated project information.
Experience in residential, mixed-use, commercial or industrial architecture will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and coordinate architectural drawings, Revit models, schedules and technical documentation across project stages.
- Develop robust construction details and project information suitable for tender and construction.
- Coordinate architectural information with structural, civil, M&E and specialist consultant information.
- Support delivery from design development through tender and construction stages.
- Take part in design team meetings and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors as required.
- Maintain accurate, coordinated project information in line with BIM, quality and project delivery procedures.
- Assist in resolving technical and coordination issues throughout project delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills - A recognised qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- At least two years' professional experience within an architectural practice in Ireland or the UK.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and experience in BIM-based project environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of architectural detailing, construction methods and building materials.
- Experience preparing coordinated technical and construction documentation.
- Good working knowledge of applicable Irish and/or UK building regulations and construction standards.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with other design disciplines and project stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable - Experience in residential, mixed-use, commercial and/or industrial architecture.
- Familiarity with ISO 19650 and BIM information management principles.
- Experience using Common Data Environments (CDEs) for project information management.
- An interest in sustainable design, technical innovation and digital project delivery.
