Job Description:

My client are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with their architects and designers to develop and manage architectural projects from concept through to completion. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality designs and collaborate on diverse projects that shape the built environment of Tullamore and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed architectural drawings and plans using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
  • Prepare and review construction documents, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to collect data and ensure project requirements are met.
  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications and liaise with local authorities.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support and expertise.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of building materials, construction techniques, and industry trends.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an architectural technologist role.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other design tools.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
  • Excellent technical drawing and drafting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
