Architectural Technician with a passion for technical detail and digital innovation.
The Role: You will be part of a multidisciplinary team developing fully coordinated architectural packages for hyperscale data centre projects. This role combines traditional technical responsibilities with the opportunity to work alongside AI tools and automation systems, including generative design workflows and prompt-based assistance.
Key Responsibilities: - Produce detailed construction and tender documentation using Revit and AutoCAD
- Coordinate models with architectural, structural, and MEP teams across Europe
- Support delivery from design development through to IFC and site support
- Engage with AI-enhanced platforms for drawing automation, coordination, and compliance checking
- Integrate tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Grok into early-stage design thinking or technical workflow documentation (training provided)
- Ensure all deliverables comply with Irish Building Regulations and client standards
Ideal Candidate: - 3+ years' experience as an Architectural Technician or Technologist
- Previous experience with data centres, pharma, or large industrial/commercial projects
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination
- Strong understanding of construction detailing and building regulations (Ireland/EU)
- Comfortable exploring AI tools such as:
- ChatGPT for design assistance, writing reports, or code scripting
- Claude for reviewing long documentation or spec compliance
- Gemini for live collaboration and research tasks
- Grok for internal workflows or summarisation tools
- Eager to learn and adapt to emerging digital workflows
Desirable: - Experience with AI-assisted design software (e.g., ArkDesign, Spacemaker, Veras, TestFit)
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and CDE standards
- Stamp 4, EU passport, or unrestricted work rights in Ireland
