Accounts Senior

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice in Roscommon is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers excellent exposure across accounts preparation, audit (where applicable), and tax compliance, making it ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience in a supportive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements for a range of SME clients
• Assisting on audit assignments from planning through to completion (where relevant)
• Preparation and filing of corporation tax and income tax returns
• Managing VAT, PAYE/PRSI, and RCT compliance
• Working closely with senior team members and partners on client engagements
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and build strong relationships
• Ensuring all assignments are delivered to a high standard and within deadlines

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CPA)
• Previous experience in an Irish accountancy practice environment
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and tax compliance
• Exposure to audit is advantageous but not essential
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
