Accounts Payable - Kildare

ProSource is partnering with a leading construction company in Kildare to hire a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable professional.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a challenge and the potential to grow within the role, joining a collaborative and fast-paced finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, match, and post high volumes of supplier invoices in a multi-currency, multi-entity environment.
• Liaise with suppliers, project teams, functional departments, and the wider finance team to resolve invoice, account, and payment queries.
• Act as the primary contact for your assigned group of suppliers.
• Complete monthly supplier account reconciliations.
• Handle AP administrative tasks such as master data requests, document and mailbox management.
• Support month-end activities and ad-hoc duties assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
• Contribute to finance process improvement projects.
• Support audit-related activities as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable with strong technical knowledge.
• Business-related qualification desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and VAT treatment on invoices (including reverse charge, Intrastat, etc.).
• Construction industry experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with Dynamics 365, Proactis, and Tradex is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and compliance focus due to high transaction volumes.
• Excellent organisation, time management, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A proactive team player who can also work independently.
