Accounts Manager - Dublin

A well-established and growing tax and accountancy practice in South Dublin is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practice-trained accountant looking to work closely with a diverse portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients in a collaborative and flexible environment.

The role offers hybrid working with two anchor days in the office and three days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors
• Prepare and review year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Review management accounts, VAT returns, and related compliance work
• Work closely with the tax team to support clients on financial and tax matters
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong professional relationships
• Provide business advisory support and respond to client queries in a timely manner
• Ensure deadlines and compliance obligations are met efficiently
• Mentor and support junior team members where required
• Liaise with Revenue and other third parties on behalf of clients

Requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CPA qualified or qualified by experience
• Minimum 4 years’ Irish accountancy practice experience essential
• Strong accounts preparation experience across a range of entities
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
• Experience using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or Surf
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
