Accounting Technician - Westmeath

ProSource are recruiting for an Accounting Technician on behalf of a well established accountancy practice based in Westmeath. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional team and work with a varied portfolio of clients. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Prepare year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and companies.
• Prepare VAT, RCT, PAYE and other tax returns.
• Complete bank reconciliations and bookkeeping.
• Assist with income tax and corporation tax returns.
• Liaise with clients and Revenue as required.
• Maintain accurate working papers and accounting records.

Requirements: 

• 2+ years experience in an Irish accountancy practice.
• ATI qualification or equivalent. 
• Strong knowledge of Irish accounting and taxation.
• Competent with accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
