Accounting Technician - Longford

ProSource are now recruiting an Accounting Technician on behalf of a well established accountancy practice in Longford. The ideal candidate will have 2 years Irish practice experience, an ATI qualification and strong payroll experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. 
• Managing bookkeeping, bank reconciliations and financial records. 
• Processing weekly and monthly payroll including PAYE/PRSI. 
• Preparing VAT, RCT and other relevant tax returns.
• Assisting with year-end accounts and management accounts. 
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to queries. 

Requirements: 

• Fully qualified ATI.
• Minimum 2 years experience in an Irish accountancy practice. 
• Strong payroll and bookkeeping experience. 
• Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft excel. 
• Good knowledge of Irish VAT, PAYE and taxation.
