Accounting Technician - Longford

ProSource are now seeking a fully qualified Accounting Technician to join a growing accountancy practice in Longford. The successful candidate will have completed ATI qualification, possess a minimum of two years Irish practice experience. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepared accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. 
• Managed bookkeeping, financial records and accounts reconciliations. 
• Prepared VAT returns, payroll and statutory filings. 
• Assisted with management accounts and year end financial reporting.
• Liaised with clients to gather information and resolve queries. 
• Supported compliance requirements and maintained accurate client flies. 

Requirements: 

• Fully qualified Accounting Technician (ATI) with 2+ years experience in an Irish accountancy practice. 
• Strong knowledge of Irish accounting, VAT, payroll and taxation requiremnts. 
• Experienced in preparing accounts for SMEs, sole traders and limited companies.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft excel. 
• Excellent organisational, communication and time management skills.
