Accounting Technician - Kildare

ProSource are recruiting for an Accounting Technician on behalf of a practice firm based in Kildare. The successful candidate is to join a professional and supportive practice, working with a varied portfolio of clients while developing their career. 

Key Requirements: 

• 3+ years experience in an Irish accountancy practice. 
• Strong experience in accounts preparation.
• Good knowledge of VAT, PAYE and tax returns.
• Proficient in accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Preparation and submission of VAT and other tax returns. 
• Bank reconciliations and control account reconciliations. 
• Assisting with year-end accounts and financial statements. 
• Liaising with clients and Revenue as required.
• Supporting the wider practice team with accounting and tax duties.
