Accountant - Limerick

Our client is a well established Accountancy practice based in Limerick City and they are seeking a qualified accountant with experience across Audit, Accountants and tax to join their team.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified practice accountant to take ownership of a portfolio of clients and attend to their financial needs.

Responsibilities :

1. Managing a portfolio of clients and attending to their needs across Accounts, Tax Compliance and Audit (where necessary).
2. Preparation of Financial Statements, and management accounts - ensuring compliance with standards.
3. End to End Auditing 
4. Tax - Preparation of Income/Corporate Tax returns, VAT, VIES, Intrastat, PAYE, Tax planning. 
5. Engagement with Revenue on queries/ submissions.
6. Mentoring, training with Trainees.
7. Other adhoc duties as required.

Work Experience:

1. Qualified Accountant (ACCA,ACA) with at least 2 years Irish practice experience.
2. Experience in a practice environment within a small-medium practice in Ireland.
3. Proficient in Accountancy policies and practice requirements.
4. Team player, with ability to work on own initiative. 
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
6. Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail.
7. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
8. Cloud Accounting software knowledge.
