Accountant - Audit Exempt clients

Our client, an accountancy practice based in Dublin, is seeking a Qualified Accountant (2+ years PQE) to join their professional and collaborative team.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of audit-exempt clients, working closely with owner-managed businesses across a range of sectors. It’s an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant who enjoys client interaction and wants to grow within a progressive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of audit-exempt clients
• Preparation and review of statutory financial statements
• Preparation and review of corporation tax returns
• Preparation and review of income tax returns for individuals and partnerships
• Provide accounting, tax, and business advisory support to clients
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Assist with mentoring and supporting junior team members as required
• Liaise with Revenue and other third parties when necessary

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience, must have Irish practice experience
• Strong experience working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses
• Excellent technical accounting and tax knowledge
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to succeed
• Ability to manage deadlines and work autonomously
