Site Engineer - Germany

Exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer with 1+ years’ experience in the construction/ civil engineering industry to join a large, reputable civils contractor in Germany. This role will provide a strong basic salary as well as a living away allowance, flights and accommodation.
  
Duties:

• Assist with the planning, execution, and supervision of civil engineering projects in Germany.
• Conduct site surveys, set out works, and establish project control points to ensure accuracy and compliance with design specifications.
• Monitor and inspect construction activities to ensure quality standards are met and work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate work activities and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
• Assist with the preparation of project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel as required.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.

  
Requirements: 

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role within the civil engineering industry is desirable but not essential.
• Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and relevant software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
• Fluency in German and English languages is advantageous.
