The Environmental Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing environmental management systems and initiatives to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainability within our organization.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement in construction and utilities projects.
  • Monitor environmental performance metrics and track progress towards sustainability goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams and departments on environmental matters related to construction and utilities projects.
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and external partners to address environmental concerns and ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
  • Lead environmental training and awareness programs for employees to promote a culture of environmental stewardship and compliance within the organization.
  • Stay current on emerging environmental trends, regulations, and technologies to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in environmental management, preferably in construction or utilities sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices in the construction and utilities industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Environmental Manager (CEM) or Certified Environmental Professional (CEP) are advantageous.
