ProSource are delighted to be working with a progressive, well established practice based in Kildare. They are seeking an ambitious, high-performing candidate to join the team. 

The successful candidate will lead the delivery of audit assignments and be responsible for the effective delivery of high-quality assignments to fieldwork completion and final accounts and audit report stage.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead the delivery of a broad cross sector of audit assignments.
  • Manage planning and delivery of audit assignments.
  • Draft high-quality, financial statements and audit reports that include recommendations to address all risk issues and control weaknesses identified during the assignment, with a clear supporting rationale.
  • Accounts preparation.
  • Build & maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep the Partner/s updated on any material issues that arise and ensure a collaborative approach with the client.
  • Ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Manage the day-to-day supervision, on-the-job training and mentoring of junior staff allocated to audit assignment.
  • Commercial awareness/ fee negotiation and agreement with clients. 
  • Other adhoc request as required.
Your Qualification and Skills:
  • A qualification as an Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
  • Recent experience working in an accountancy practice in Ireland.
  • At least 2 years PQE.
  • Strong technical competence.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Project management skills plus the proven ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at any one time.
  • Collaborative working both internally and externally.
  • Line Management responsibility - desirable.
