Senior Civil Structural Design Engineer -Mayo

ProSource Group are seeking a Senior Structural Design Engineer on behalf of a leading multidisciplinary engineering firm in Mayo.

The company provide a wide range of services including Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and more.
  
€60,000 - €75,000 + package on offer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Analysis and Design: Conduct structural analysis and design across various construction projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Design Development: Collaborate with project teams to refine structural designs, integrating client specifications and architectural concepts.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize engineering principles to devise cost-effective and innovative structural solutions.
• Quality Control: Maintain stringent quality assurance measures, meticulously reviewing design calculations and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaboration: Forge close partnerships with architects, project managers, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and effective communication of design ideas.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design reports, drawings, and specifications for project teams and clients.
• Continuous Development: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and structural engineering best practices.

Requirements for Success:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5 years + relevant experience 
• Chartered Engineer status (or in pursuit thereof) with a recognised professional engineering body.
• Full working knowlegde of British and Eurocode design standards
• Demonstrated experience in structural design for construction projects, ideally within the Irish construction sector.
• Proficiency in structural design software and familiarity with pertinent design codes.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork aptitude.
