Senior Buyer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Buyer in Meath. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of buying experience and will play a key role in managing procurement activities to support our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the procurement process for materials, equipment, and services required for various projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to ensure the best value and quality.
• Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to identify potential savings.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to forecast procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a buying or procurement role, preferably within the construction or engineering sectors.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Relevant qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.

Package:

• Competitive salary of €60,000 - €70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
