ProSource are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction firm renowned for its exceptional project delivery and innovative solutions. Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage project cost estimates and budgets.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labour costs.
  • Assess project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.
  • Perform cost analysis and manage project cash flow to ensure budget adherence.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss and resolve cost-related issues.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure costs are controlled.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory building regulations and client specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of project financial performance and prepare regular reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, MSCSI) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, Bluebeam).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Package:
