Qualified Practice Accountant

A leading Accountancy Practice are seeking a Qualified Accountant with 5 years plus experience working in a small or medium practice in Ireland to join the team in Santry.

This exciting opportunity will enable you to grow your skills and experience in practice.  There is a fantastic renumeration package on offer for the successful candidate.

The role:

1. Relationship Management: Managing a Portfolio of Clients and attending to their needs.
2. Preparation/Checking of Financial Statements.
3. Providing training and support to junior staff, mentoring and delegating tasks.
4. Managing VAT/ TAX returns
5. Revenue reporting.
6. Engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
7. Assistant clients with budgeting and forecasting needs.
8. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax laws/ regulatory requirements.
9. Business Advisory Support / Tax planning.
10. Adhoc requests as and when required.

Your experience:

1. At least 5 years experience in a small/ medium practice (with good quality practices) in Ireland.
2. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or similar).
3. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
4. Proficient in Accountancy policies and practice requirements.
5. Team player, with ability to work on own initiative. 
6. Excellent numeracy skills with a high level of attention to detail.
7. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook.
8. Cloud Accounting software knowledge.
