My client is a leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisors, part of an international network. They provide a wide range of services including audit, tax, advisory, and corporate finance to a diverse client base, ranging from small businesses to large multinational corporations. 


 
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to further their career in a supportive and professional environment. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services, and will be a key player in delivering our comprehensive range of services.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of audits, including the preparation of audit working papers and financial reports.
  • Provide accounting support to a range of clients, including the preparation of management accounts and bookkeeping services.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with Irish tax laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored financial advice.
  • Support the senior team in the delivery of advisory projects, including business planning, financial forecasting, and corporate finance assignments.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and within deadlines.
  • Liaise with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Experience
:
  • ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified or part-qualified, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of Irish accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Experience in audit, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A proactive and organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to learn and grow within the firm.
