Our client, a prominent civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects in Dublin. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing all aspects of project delivery, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in civil engineering project management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and oversee civil engineering projects from inception through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans.
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays or challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all site activities.
  • Oversee procurement processes to ensure materials and resources are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical or operational issues.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management, preferably within the civil engineering sector.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering practices, construction processes, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide site teams.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Full, valid driving licence and flexibility to travel to project sites as required.
