Newly Qualified Accountant - Midlands

My client is an well established construction group operating across Leinster and the midlands. They are highly experienced, devoted and driven team in which we cater for clients in the private, industrial and commercial sector.

The company has grown from strength to strength and in order to support continued growth they are now seeking a Financial Accountant to join the team.   This role will report directly to the Finance Director. 
  

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of management accounts and ledger maintenance for primary entity.
• Gather all necessary reports and detailed support periodically and on demand, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, budgets, strategic plans and cash-forecasts.
• Execute accurate reporting, enabling the department to analyse options and make financial recommendations aligned with company objectives.
• Assist Financial Controller with the annual audit and preparation of the year-end financial statements.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as they arise
• Assist other members of the finance department as the need arises.

  
Qualifications:

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Newly qualified or up to 2 years PQE.
• Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills. 
• Organised approach to work with strong time management skills.
