Linesworker

The Linesworker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to overhead line work, including installation, maintenance, and repair activities. This role requires expertise in OHL operations, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  
Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair overhead lines for telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Perform line inspections, identifying and addressing any defects or issues to maintain network reliability.
• Conduct line stringing, tensioning, and splicing activities as required.
• Operate specialized equipment, such as aerial lifts and line trucks, safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and supervisors to complete tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of work activities, materials used, and equipment inspections.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and quality standards.

  
Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Linesworker with OHL experience, preferably in the telecoms industry.
• Knowledge of overhead line installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Proficiency in operating relevant equipment and tools, including aerial lifts and line trucks.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
