Junior Safety Professional

ProSource are recruiting a Junior Safety Professional on behalf of a leading engineering consultancy in Ireland. This role is based in Limerick and will be involved in a wide variety of projects. 

Salary is competitive and based on experience 

Job Role and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to

• Creating and carrying out extensive programmes, policies, and procedures related to health and safety.
• Carrying out routine audits and inspections to find possible risks and non-compliance problems.
• Carry out the role of PSDP on construction projects. 
• Giving site staff direction and instruction on safe work techniques and procedures.
• Staying current with industry best practices and applicable health and safety laws.
• Making site visits

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Degree in Construction or related field 
• Relevant Health & Safety Qualification 
• In-depth knowledge of local health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and hazard identification.
• Chartered Engineer membership preferred
