Junior Quantity Surveyors

About the Company:
A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects across Ireland is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience while developing their career on high-profile civils and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
• Supporting senior quantity surveyors in procurement and subcontractor management.
• Monitoring and reporting on project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
• Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts.
• Attending site meetings and supporting progress tracking and reporting.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and cost records.
• Assisting with interim and final payment applications.
• Supporting contract administration and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a QS role, ideally on civils or infrastructure projects.
• Basic understanding of cost management principles and construction contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software tools (e.g., CostX, Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and progress within a supportive team environment.
• Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative when required.

Package:

• Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 depending on experience.
