About the Company: A leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects across Ireland is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience while developing their career on high-profile civils and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities: - Assisting with the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
- Supporting senior quantity surveyors in procurement and subcontractor management.
- Monitoring and reporting on project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
- Assisting with valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Attending site meetings and supporting progress tracking and reporting.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and cost records.
- Assisting with interim and final payment applications.
- Supporting contract administration and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements: - A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a QS role, ideally on civils or infrastructure projects.
- Basic understanding of cost management principles and construction contracts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS software tools (e.g., CostX, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to learn and progress within a supportive team environment.
- Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative when required.
Package: - Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 depending on experience.
