Junior Quantity Surveyor

My client is an Irish owned, Tier 1 Main Contractor who have a proven track record of delivering prestigious Projects nationwide.

This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to work closely with the Managing Surveyor onsite and it will progress their career in a big way. 

Roles and Responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance with Contract schedule and provide weekly reports to construction team on planned versus actual progress
• Develop and maintain relationships with the client to support the activities and maintain positive relations on behalf of the company
• Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports, vaand riations and submit final accounts in a timely manner
• Ensure the Construction Team is adhering to all Contractual Requirements and providing advice and monitoring of same
• Cost monitoring and reporting while attending all monthly cost reporting meetings

The candidate:

• Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics 
• 1-3 years experience in Quantity Surveying 
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office etc
• Demonstrates excellent budgetary responsibility
• Excellent communication skills
