Junior Quantity Surveyor

ProSource are recruiting a Junior Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a well-renowned Main Building Contractor in Dublin.

€40,000 - €45,000 + package DOE

My client is a leading building and civil engineering contractor with a wide array of experience across all sectors of the industry. They have an international presence with a large scope of operations being carried out in the UK. This is a great opportunity to join a closely knit team who will provide all the support and mentorship needed to grow professionally.
  
Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
• Contribute to the procurement process by obtaining and analysing supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Collaborate with project teams to monitor costs and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
• Assist in the evaluation and negotiation of variations and change orders.
• Perform regular site visits to assess progress and gather relevant data for cost analysis.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely progress reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with construction contracts and relevant legislation.
• Proficient in relevant software, such as MS Excel and project management tools.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a dynamic construction environment.
