Junior Environmental & Safety Advisor

ProSource are recruiting a Junior Environmental Health & Safety Officer on behalf of their client who are a highly reputable Main Building Contractor. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in launching a career in environmental responsibility and safety within the construction industry.

Your main duties will include, but not be limited to;

• Assist in monitoring and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations, permits, and requirements for construction sites.
• Support in conducting environmental impact assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
• Work under the guidance of senior EHS professionals to enforce Health & Safety policies and procedures on construction sites.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety audits, helping identify potential hazards and offering recommendations for corrective actions.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of environmental and safety inspections, incidents, and compliance documents.
• Collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to promote a culture of environmental responsibility and safety.

To be successful in your application you will possess the following;

• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field
• Full Irish License and Vehicle
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and take direction from senior EHS professionals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT Skills
