H&S Advisor | Specialist Contractor

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing H&S policies and procedures in line with industry regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Provide H&S inductions and ongoing training to site personnel.
Support the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, preparing reports and suggesting corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation of all H&S activities, including inspections, audits, and training records.
Liaise with project managers, site teams, and contractors to ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
Ensure all H&S regulations are up-to-date and aligned with current industry best practices.
Promote a culture of safety awareness across all project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

Degree or certification in Health & Safety or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably within the construction or specialist contracting sector.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Full driving license required.
