Health & Safety Advisor

ProSource is recruiting a Health and Safety Advisor for a leading M&E contractor experiencing continued growth and delivering multiple projects across Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) inspections across project sites to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
• Prepare and develop site-specific Safety Statements, Risk Assessments, and Method Statements (RAMS) in collaboration with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, and Site Foremen.
• Review, assess, and approve subcontractor EHS documentation, including safety statements, RAMS, training records, and compliance documentation prior to submission to the main contractor.
• Monitor subcontractor adherence to site safety procedures and ensure all works are carried out in line with project and legislative requirements.
• Deliver and coordinate EHS inductions, training sessions, and ongoing safety awareness initiatives for employees and site personnel.
• Attend site Health & Safety meetings, toolbox talks, and daily EHS briefings, providing professional guidance on safety-related matters.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and ensuring appropriate corrective and preventative actions are implemented.

Requirements

• Degree (Level 7 or higher) in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction, M&E, or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices.
