The Senior Health and Safety Advisor will take a lead role in implementing and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a safe working environment across office and site locations.
  
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety procedures tailored to the power and utilities sector.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure safety compliance on-site.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to promote a proactive safety culture within the organization.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Conduct training sessions on health and safety practices, keeping the workforce informed and educated.
  • Balance office and site visits, ensuring a holistic approach to health and safety management.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Health and Safety Advisor within the power and utilities sector preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices relevant to power and utilities projects.
  • Relevant certification or qualification in health and safety management.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to balance office-based responsibilities with regular site visits.
Package:
  • Competitive salary ranging from €70,000 to €80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
