Health and Safety Advisor

Leading Civils contractor based in Dublin, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being within our workplace.
Role:
As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among employees. Reporting directly to the Health and Safety Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe working environment across all our construction sites.
  
Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Provide advice and guidance on health and safety matters to management, employees, and subcontractors.
• Deliver training programs to promote safety awareness and ensure understanding of safety protocols.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and compile detailed reports with recommendations for prevention.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry developments to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement in safety standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to health and safety activities.
